Part of the Costwolds Distillery's Cask Expressions Collection, this cask-strength Single Malt Whisky is aged exclusively in the Cotswolds Distillery's founder Dan’s favourite casks: STR (Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred) ex-red winebarrels.
NOSE:
Dry hay and cut wood, with dark chocolate, dried figs and plums in sweet syrup.
PALATE:
Warming cereal and toast notes, with lots of fresh red fruits and butterscotch.
FINISH:
Hints of spicy oak, lots of dried fruit and a lingering nutty, dry note.
ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE: Cask strength 59.1% - 60.5% ABV

Ingredients
50ml Cotswold's Founder's Choice
5ml Sugar Syrup
3 Dash Angostura Bitters
Garnish with Orange Zest
Method
Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass, stir to combine, then fill with ice. Stir for 30 seconds, then strain into a rocks glass over a large ice block. Garnish with the Orange zest.
